Gearing Up for the Morning Session

With only one session scheduled today, the players are getting geared up for what will surely be intense training this morning. So what does the morning schedule look like? If you got one slipped under your door from team administrator Jon Fleishman, here's what it would say.

8-10 a.m. - Breakfast
9 a.m. - Gear/Treatment
10 a.m. - Depart for Training
10:30 a.m. - Training
1:30 p.m. - Lunch

Players pick up their gear for each session from the equipment room, many with specific needs (the subject of an upcoming post.). Treatment can mean anything from getting ankles taped to a ride on the bike or pre-training stretching - yes, some players warm up before they warm up, so to speak (also an upcoming post). The routine also helps with getting players mentally focused so they are concentrated for every minute they spend on the field.
