The last friendly meeting on U.S. soil came Feb. 6, 1999 in Jacksonville, Fla. when the United States hosted reigning the European Champions. The USA got goals from three of its German-based professionals - Jovan Kirovski (Fortuna Cologne), Tony Sanneh (Hertha Berlin) and Claudio Reyna (VfL Wolfsburg) - that paced the U.S. to an upset 3-0 win.
