The U.S. U-20 WNT players had their first chance to get a good look at Tokyo today on a short shopping excursion to and near the Shibuya area of Tokyo, i.e., right smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
The players had a good time doing some souvenir shopping but most of the stores might have been a bit high end for these college students. Most of the players also partook in a crepes and ice cream treat that wrapped the crepe up like a cone and stuffed all kinds of goodness into them.
No moms, it didn't ruin their dinner.
The Shibuya ward, one of 23 special wards in Tokyo, has a population density of 13,540 persons per square kilomoter. Anchorage, Alaska, home to U.S. forward Kelly Cobb, has a population density of 22.8 persons per square kilometer.
Taylor Schram and Mandy Laddish were two of the 13,540 people in this particular square kilometer
