After a three week layoff, the U.S. Women's National Team is back.

Rochester Welcomes the #USWNT!

With the summer's exploits still fresh in everyone's minds, the WNT will take the field in Rochester for the first time since standing atop the podium at Wembley. For the U.S. the chance to play on home soil is a chance to thank the fans for the wonderful support given to the team throughout the run at the 2012 Olympics. The Fan Tribute Tour commences this Saturday at Sahlen's Stadium. The game is sold out. The atmosphere will be rocking. Everybody's looking forward to the occasion, team and fans alike.

The team arrived in Rochester on Thursday, with players filtering in throughout the afternoon. It's a short trip and the team will train for the first and only time tomorrow morning. The training session is open to the public and the WNT Blog has been told to expect a great crowd. Looks like the Fan Tribute Tour will get off to a great start then, with a couple thousand spectators (at the least) supposedly coming out. You can still RSVP to come watch the WNT train, and we hope to see you out there!

We'll be putting up a few blogs during the next day and half, but your best bet will be to follow the WNT on twitter @ussoccer_wnt. And of course you can watch the game Saturday on NBC with a pre-game show starting at 2:30 p.m. ET.

The Fan Tribute Tour Begins! How will you show your appreciation for the team this weekend?
