The beautiful game may be on a global pause, but nothing’s going to stop coaches from sharing their love of the game.

America Scores is holding a FREE Soccer Coaches Summit from April 13 – 18, 2020.

The online Soccer Coaches Summit expects to have nearly 100 speakers and thousands of participants. Attendees will be able to learn directly from elite, world-class soccer coaches, trainers, and clinicians through a series of live one-hour seminars, presentations, and Q & A sessions.

A non-profit organization, America SCORES, is connecting coaches all across America, offering a free week long soccer program open to everyone in the soccer community including coaches, players, fans, friends, and family.

Colin Schmidt, Chief Executive Officer of America SCORES Bay Area believes this is the right time for unity.

“The problem is that the game has paused. Coaches, the lifeblood of the sport, are sidelined,” said Schmidt. “We have tens of thousands of coaches stuck on their couches. How can we unite coaches? How can we inspire and inform them?”

How can we advance the game during this period of lockdown?”

America SCORES’ solution is to connect, inform and inspire coaches around the country online with a creative symposium; coaches helping coaches during a period of intense isolation and hardship. “It’s like ‘We are the World’ or perhaps #LadyGaga’s ‘ONE WORLD: TOGETHER TO END CORONAVIRUS’, but with a whiteboard and Xs and Os,” said Schmidt.
