Partnership To Deliver Soccer Opportunities for Arizona Youth Players Affected by Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, or Traumatic Brain Injury.

The Arizona Soccer Association (ASA), the largest youth sports organization in Arizona is excited to announce a partnership with CP Soccer.

ASA and CP Soccer will partner to develop, promote, and deliver soccer opportunities for youth players throughout Arizona who are affected by cerebral palsy, stroke, or traumatic brain injury.

“ASA is very excited to be the first state association in country to partner with CP Soccer,” said Rick Kelsey, CEO, ASA. “This partnership not only creates opportunities for more youth in Arizona to experience soccer, but the development of this platform will help to create a pathway to the US National Para-7-A-Side National Team.”

CP Soccer, a non-profit organization, was created in September 2017 in the New York metro area. With the partnership with ASA CP Soccer has grown to having ten teams in eight states, with over 100 youth participating nationwide.

“CP Soccer’s mission is to build a nationwide soccer league and to be able to partner with the Arizona Soccer Association helps get us one step closer to our mission,” said Eli Halliwell, founder, CP Soccer.

This partnership, the first of its kind in the country will see ASA host its first official training session on Sunday December 20, 2020 at Scottsdale Sports Complex.
