[FONT=georgia, palatino]With the USA training in Germany, U.S. head coach Tom Sermanni will take the opportunity to take a look at three Germany-based players in forward Sarah Hagen and defender/midfielder Amber Brooks of Bayern Munich and goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher of Turbine Potsdam.

The trio will arrive into camp on April 1, train on April 2 and 3, and then return to their clubs. Bayern Munich pulled off an upset of sorts on Saturday, March 30, during league play, putting two past Naeher to win 2-0 over defending champion Potsdam which currently sits in second place. Bayern is in fourth.

This will be the first full national team team experience for Hagen, a former University of Milwaukee star, who has nine goals in 14 international matches for the U.S. Under-23s. She has had success in the German league as a goal scorer and this year has eight goals in 14 games.

Brooks, a member of the USA's 2008 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Team that advance to the Final in New Zealand before falling to North Korea, and a starter for the USA at the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, just started her career in Germany after finising up at UNC last fall, but scored twice in her debut for Bayern.

Naeher, a former Penn State All-American who was the starting 'keeper when the USA won the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Chile, back-stopped Potsdam to the Bundesliga title last year and has trained with the full national team in the past. She was the starting 'keeper for the Boston Breakers in the WPS in 2010 and 2011.

The trio are just coming in to train and are not on the game roster for the two upcoming matches.
