After the U.S. WNT's win over New Zealand on Friday in the Olympic quarterfinal, Saturday was of course another travel day.

After breakfast on Saturday morning, the players who didn't start or played limited minutes against New Zealand did a on-field workout in Newcastle, while the rest ran through their usual day-after-game regeneration and yoga. Then (after watching some of the 100 meter sprint heats on TV, everyone hit the road back to Manchester, where the WNT played its final group stage game against North Korea at Old Trafford earlier this week. Instead of taking a bus, as on the other legs of the WNT's journey through the U.K., they took the train to Manchester…with many Harry Potter references along the way. All aboard the WNT Hogwarts Express!

You'll see a lot of this between Newcastle and Manchester

After arriving smoothly in Manchester it was truly a day to rest the body and mind. There were no meetings on the schedule, just time to relax. Players did a variety of activities including watching some Olympics on TV and battling it out on the hotel's ping pong and pool table (even on a day off, this team loves to compete!). The epic pool showdown between Kelley O'Hara and Tobin Heath continued, and it seems that every time we check in on the ongoing battle, Tobin is "ahead by one game."

We're pretty sure Pinoe got the better of lightning in this match

On Sunday there will be one last training session in the morning before the big semifinal match with Canada at Old Trafford - an extremely rare opportunity to play at the famed venue for a second time.

And let's not forget to wish Happy Birthday to Kelley O'Hara. She got cupcakes at team lunch.
