#LadyGaga Helps Everone Realize We Are All Global Citizens

While this has nothing specifically to do with soccer, it perfectly fits with our mission of sharing positive and valuable information. Curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga, the April 18 global special has raised $35 million so far.

One World: Together at Home,” Global Airing April 18 led by Lady Gaga with WHO will simultaneously be shown on ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Music brings the world together, perhaps even more than soccer and One World: Together at Home,” Lady Gaga’s musical collaboration promises to make us all feel connected as global citizens. The event will be joined by Paul McCartney, Elton John, Billie Eilish, Andrea Bocelli, and Finneas, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Chris Martin, Lizzo, Eddie Vedder, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Alanis Morissette, Lang Lang, among others.

Global Citizen believes in advocacy and fundraising instead of just raising money. Education is important to actually make change possible. “Global Citizen both supports individual charities, whilst also asking you to use your voice to encourage governments and others to play their part too.” Formed to end extreme poverty by 2030, their mission has been to build a movement of 100M action-taking Global Citizens to help achieve this reality. Now Global Citizens has rallied to help end the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

From Global Citizen:

Frontline health workers are instrumental in the global COVID-19 coronavirus response, putting their own health on the line to protect and care for others. The One World: Together At Home global special will celebrate and support these incredible people, and unite the world in support of the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. You can join the movement by taking urgent action through the Together At Home campaign to combat COVID-19 here.

Lady Gaga just participated in the WHO press conference Monday morning and has helped raise $35 million during the last week. More info in GLOBAL CITIZEN.
