The U.S. strikeforce brings is bringing some serious goalscoring mojo from club to country heading into these qualifiers. From a record-setting year to a rookie making waves at a new team, the forwards are in form.

  • Jozy Altidore has scored 18 goals in league play and 25 in all competitions for AZ Alkmaar this season.
  • Herculez Gomez remains en fuego for Santos Laguna, collecting eight goals in the Liga MX Torneo Clausura. His goal against Houston secured the spot for Santos in the CONCACAF Champions League semis.
  • Terrence Boyd has 11 goals in 20 games in his first season for Rapid Vienna
And let's not forget Clint Dempsey, who leads the United States in scoring in this World Cup qualifying cycle with six goals. His career total is 11, good for second on the USA's all-time list. In third place? Seattle Sounders FC striker Eddie Johnson, who has 10 to his credit.
