[FONT=georgia, palatino]Coming off a championship at the 2013 Algarve Cup in Portugal, U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Tom Sermanni has named a 23-player roster that will travel to Germany and the Netherlands for friendly matches against two teams preparing for this summer’s European Women’s Championship.
After facing Germany in the Algarve Cup Final on March 13, the U.S. Women will be meeting Germany for the second time in 23 days when the top two teams in the current FIFA Women’s World Rankings play on Friday, April 5, at Sparda Bank Hessen Stadium in Offenbach, home of Kickers Offenbach in the German Third Division. Kickoff is set for 6:15 p.m. local time (12:15 p.m. ET).
The USA will then travel to the Netherlands to face the Dutch in The Hague at Kyocera Stadium, home of ADO Den Haag of the Dutch Eredivisie, on Tuesday, April 9.
Offenbach is located just outside of Frankfurt, where the USA played the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final. The Hague is located on the west coast of the Netherlands, about 35 miles southwest of Amsterdam. April 9 will be the USA’s first meeting with the Dutch since 2006 and will kick off at 7 p.m. local time (1 p.m. ET). Fans can follow both matches live online via ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker and Twitter @ussoccer_wnt.

If you are a U.S. fan living overseas, or a Germany, Dutch or any European fan of the U.S. team, we are looking forward to seeing you (or hearing you cheer) at the matches...
