The USA-Panama Gold Cup Final will be refereed by Joel Aguilar of El Salvador.
In addition to centering the 2011 championship game, he will be most remember by U.S. fans as the official who refereed the Snowclasico in March in Denver. Aguilar was the center of attention 10 minutes into the second half when he stopped the match to consult with the fourt official. With players and coaches surrounding him, he chose to continue the match as long as the lines continued to be shoveled and visible. And the rest is history!
