  • In their last encounter in the Gold Cup, Clint Dempsey scored the lone goal in the USA's 1-0 victory in the semifinal round of the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup, marking the fourth straight time that the U.S. has eliminated Panama from the Gold Cup's knockout round.
