The U.S. WNT has come together for the first time in 2013, traveling to Jacksonville, Fla. for a training camp prior to opening the 2013 schedule against Scotland on Feb. 9 at EverBank Field. Kickoff is 5 p.m. ET and the match will be streamed live on ussoccer.com.

Tickets starting at $22 are on sale through ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the Jacksonville area (including many Walmart stores). Groups of 20 or more can obtain an order form at ussoccer.com or call 312-528-1290.

There will eventually be 29 players in camp, but a few of the players currently playing in Europe were absent as new head coach Tom Sermanni spoke to the team for the first time (see above). They will be arriving over the next few days.

The marathon that is the road to the 2015 Women's World Cup has begun...but it will begin with some sprints.

On Sunday, the team will hit the field twice, in the morning for physical testing and then a bit of soccer in the afternoon. Of course, all team activities will be completed by the time the Super Bowl starts, as even if Mr. Sermanni is Scottish by way of Australia, he understands the American event that is the NFL championship game.
