Your 2012 U.S. Olympic Women's Soccer Team

[FONT=georgia,palatino]The preparation is done. The players are ready. And it's time to get this tournament underway. The U.S. team got the opportunity to take a team photo at Hampden Park on Monday. Unfortunately, it was spitting rain so the picture had to be taken under cover, but the team didn't seem to mind as they are tremendously excited to be on this journey together.

Many months and years of hard work and effort have been put in by these players to get to the highest level of their sport and earn the privilege of competing for an Olympic gold medal.

The team would like to thank everyone watching in the USA, the UK and around the world for their tremendous support as they begin play in the Olympics. It should be fun.
