The GA Begins To Create Its Unrivaled Experience

Striving for the best to meet the needs of the players, the Girls Academy starts forming partnerships.

The Girls Academy (GA) names InStat the league’s first-ever Official Video Analysis Provider and the Official League Exchange Video Platform Provider.

The GA formed from the closure of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy and has 7 conferences, 67 clubs, and over 7,400 players across the nation. With a collaborative philosophy, the GA is creating a culture guided by a shared set of core values, and the organization’s new commissioner, Lesle Gallimore is determined to bring real value to the market and the leagues players, coaches and families.

The GA continues to seek partnerships with organizations and individuals who align with the league’s commitment to creating an unrivaled experience for GA players and clubs.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with InStat. As a coaching educator and a college coach, I’ve worked with their platform and it is going to really give our coaches and players an educational teaching tool that is first class and seamless to use,” said Lesle Gallimore, GA Commissioner.

InStat will greatly benefit our players in The Girls Academy as it relates to recruitment and scouting.

InStat stood out amongst competing offers because of the resources they are putting behind the women’s game with the recent NCAA Division 1 Women’s soccer partnership, along with the ease of their player-centric video analysis and the direct accessibility for scouting.

“Our landscape in youth soccer, like everything else in the world, has greatly changed over the last several months,” said Gallimore. “Our technology platform with InStat will surely ease some of the challenges college coaches, national team scouts, and players are facing. We heard from our players that having this capability is a priority for them in their development and pathway.”

The InStat partnership provides robust video analysis tools (see Scout) and an unlimited league exchange platform that will aid GA clubs and players in maximizing player and team development as well as the recruitment and scouting journey.

“We look forward to seeing the impact that InStat will have on our players and clubs,” said Ashlee Fontes-Comber, GA board of director. “Over several conversations with InStat, it became clearer each time that they were truly committed to putting resources into making this a powerful partnership immediately and with long-term collaborative and innovative potential.”

“We are beyond thrilled to partner with the Girls Academy. This demonstrates our commitment to growing Women’s soccer throughout the world,” said Mark Yates, InStat Director of North America. “On the back of InStat’s recent partnership with NCAA Division 1 Women’s soccer every team and player in the Girls Academy will now have greater recruiting exposure through our platform.”

The GA focus remains to build the most dynamic platform imaginable for the players.

The season kicks off in August with the first showcase event in November. Click here for more information on the GA.
