The trio of qualifiers in the Hexagonal in June get an early start tonight when Jamaica hosts Mexico at 8:30 p.m. CT at "The Office" in Kingston.
Because Mexico is competing in the FIFA Confederations Cup, their game against Jamaica that would have been played June 18 now moves forward.. The U.S. faced a similiar situation in 2009 before headingt to South Africa, where they defeated No. 1-ranked Spain in the semifinal before falling to Brazil in the championship match.
Jamaica is 0-1-2 through three matches, and is facing Mexico for the second time in the round after earning a 1-1 draw on Feb. 6 at Estadio Azteca. With two home games in this set and facing the U.S. three days later, a result is critical for the Reggae Boyz.
