The MNT coaching staff is going continent and country hopping this weekend to check on the progress of the National Team players as plans are finalized for the rosters this summer.
U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann will see Edgar Castillo and Joe Corona in the second leg of the Copa Libertadores Round of 16 matchup against Palmeiras in São Paolo. Martin Vasquez heads to Guadalajara to see Herculez Gomez in game two of the Liga MX quarterfinals between Atlas and Santos.
Across the pond, Andi Herzog starts in Germany, where Michael Parkhurst and Augsburg face a huge challenge to their Bundesliga survival as the play champoins Bayern Munich. From there it's across the border into Italy, where Michael Bradley and Roma continue to fight for a spot in the Europa League and travel to face third-place AC Milan. Matthias Hamann will watch the huge match for Fabian Johnson and Danny Williams when Hoffenheim hosts Hamburg as the U.S. duo fight to avoid relegation, then pops over to Spain to catch Carlos Bocanegra and Racing Santander welcome Real Castilla.
