Remember how the U.S. entered last two World Cup qualifiers with no fewer than eight players unavailable through injury, and how despite that the team collected a 1-0 win at home against Costa Rica, and then two more players got hurt, and we still pulled off a huge 0-0 draw at Estadio Azteca?

That was great news, and it keeps getting better. In addition to Tim Howard, many of the MNT members that experienced injury issues returned to action after getting a nearly two-week break to recover. In Germany, Steve Cherundolo made the reserve list for Hannover and Timmy Chandler, Fabian Johnson and Danny Williams all got starts.

In Mexico, Edgar Castillo is back on the field after suffering facial fractures, and Jose Torres was in the lineup for Tigres.

Fantastic results and the team is getting healthier. Gotta love springtime ...
