As the full U.S. WNT prepares to play Australia in Carson, Calf., their "little sisters" are continuing preparations for their Women's World Cup in Cyprus.

Unfortunately, the USA vs. Australia clash won't be on TV in Cyprus, so the young U.S. team won't be able to watch their soccer role models, but the the U-17s are working hard in the Mediterranean heat and completed their third full day of camp today with one training in the morning.

U.S. head coach Albertin Montoya addresses the U.S. U-17 WNT during training
The afternoon consisted of some beach time (no more than two hours in the sun!) and a lot of homework. The players are getting acclimated to the time difference and are incredibly excited to get to Azerbaijan to get the 2012 U-17 Women's World Cup underway with a Sept. 22 match against a talented France team.
