The U.S. U-17 got a special treat tonight after arriving in the capital city Azerbajian. After getting to the hotel in the afternoon (the reserves trained in the morning in Lankaran), having a snack, doing a regen session, and then getting in some relaxation (and homework) before dinner, the squad got to take in part of the Jennifer Lopez concert at the spectacular Baku Crystal Hall.

J-Lo, Rihanna and Shakira are all playing in Baku as part of a concert series connected to the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. J-Lo performed after the marquee opening match of the tournament on Sept. 22 in Baku at Tofig Bahramov Stadium, Rihanna will perform during the quarterfinal match on Oct. 5 at Tofig Bahramov Stadium and also hold a concert the next day while Shakira will appear at the World Cup Final and hold a concert on the day after that game.
U.S. players await the appearance of J-Lo
It is the first time J-Lo, Rihanna and Shakira, who recently announced that she is having a baby with Barcelona and Spain star Gerard Pique, have performed in Azerbaijan.

As the show started late, the U.S. players only got to take in a few songs before heading back to the hotel, but the players had a fantastic time, did some positive team bonding and left just after a rousing rendition of "Jenny from the Block" which no doubt will be ringing in their ears as they heads hit the pillows tonight.
