The second round of group games kick off this evening as Group A resumes with Panama-Martinique and Mexico-Canada at CenturyLink Field.
Unlike the USA's 3-0 win against Panama on June 18, the artificial turf will be the playing surface for the double header.
Panama begins the night in first place after beating Mexico 2-1 in the opener. Their opponent is level on points after shutting out the Canadians in a 1-0 win off a goal in the 93rd minute.
Both Mexico and Canada are desperate to rebound after disappointing defeats. The Canadians will be without potential starters as team captain Will Johnson (stomach illness), Randy Edwini-Bonsu (knee), and Russell Teibert (illness) have been ruled out, while Simeon Jackson left the team to finalize a deal with German club Eintracht Braunschweig.
