Most of the U.S. players on the roster were in action this weekend before convening in Sarajevo, and some certainly had shorter trips than others. Here's the rundown of activity:
Terrence Boyd: Rapid Vienna v. Austria Vienna
Played 30 minutes before being takend out in a tactical substitution after his side got shown a red card in 0-0 draw
Michael Bradley: Roma v. Chelsea
in 2-1 loss to Chelsea at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.
John Brooks: Hertha Berlin v. Eintracht Frankfurt
Made his Bundesliga debut in style, scoring the game-winner in the 6-1 win.
Geoff Cameron: Stoke City v. Genoa
In the team's final tuneup, Cameron went 64 minutes in the scoreless draw.
Edgar Castillo, Joe Corona: Club Tijuana v. Pumas
The duo rejoined Tijuana after collecting the Gold Cup and went the distance in the 2-0 win against Pumas on Friday. They flew from San Diego to Newark to Munich to Sarajevo.
Mix Diskerud: Rosenborg v. Stromsgodset
Mix played 59 minutes in the 2-2 draw
Brad Evans, Eddie Johnson: Toronto v. Seattle Sounders
The only two players coming from MLS had a hand in the come from behind win against Toronto, both assisting on Seattle's opening goal. Evans left in the 89th and Eddie made it to the final whislte in the 2-1 win.
Tim Howard: Everton v. Real Betis
Everton finished off the preseason in style with a 2-1 win at home to Real Betis.
Brad Guzan: Aston Villa v. Malaga
Guzan manned the nets as the first choice 'keeper when Aston Villa ended their final tuneup with a 3-2 win against Malaga.
Aron Johannsson: AZ Alkmaar v. Ajax
Jonannsson struck from the penalty spot for the second week in a row, scoring the middle goal in the huge 3-2 win against Ajax. Impressive he has been assigned PK duties.
Jermaine Jones: Schalke v. Hamburg
Jones played 90 minutes as Schalke opened the campaign with a wild 3-3 draw against Hamburg.
Sacha Kljestan: Anderlecht v. Genk
Kljestan kicked off the campaign in style, getting on the end of a rebound from a restart as Anderlecht cruised to a 4-1 win agains Genk.
Danny Williams: Reading v. Bolton Wanderers
Williams came off the bench to close out the match as Reading drew 1-1 with Bolton.
