The U.S. WNT finished up its series of "heavy" training sessions in Jacksonville, Fla. on Thursday and will taper into the match on Friday with a practice at EverBank Field at 11 a.m. that is open to the public.

The squad had a pretty intense small-sided tournament at training today that was won by Team 3 (see above), but of course, the USA's small-sided games are always pretty intense.

Speaking of intense, the U.S. players are pumped to begin 2013 in front of a great crowd at EverBank Field on Saturday as more than 14,000 tickets have been sold for the game.

Tom Sermanni will choose 18 players from the training camp roster to suit up for the match which will be web-streamed live on ussoccer.com at 5 p.m. ET.

These two games against Scotland (also Feb. 13 in Nashville at LP Field) are also vitally important for the players as Sermanni will use the training and games to select his roster for the upcoming Algarve Cup in Portugal to be contested at the beginning of March. The USA will play Iceland, China and Sweden during group play at the 20th annual Algarve Cup.
