The USA has taken a few team walks so far in Japan, not only to get the players out of the hotel but to stretch the legs, get some sun and help acclimate to the time difference here in Japan (13 hours head of the East Coast, 16 ahead of California).
It is clear that one of the many things that the Japanese do well is gardens.
One of those walks was to the Shukkeien Japanese Garden. Shukkeien's name can be translated into English as "shrunken-scenery garden," which is also a pretty good description of the garden itself. Valleys, mountains, and forests are represented in miniature in the garden's beatutiful landscapes.
A nice place to spend some time in the morning for sure.
