It's extremely hot and humid in Hiroshima so while the U.S. U-20s went out this afternoon for a bit of shopping at the large outdoor/indoor (it's got a roof) shopping arcade, they only spent an hour walking around and looking for some bargains. The most exciting thing that happened was perhaps Vanessa DiBernardo almost getting her foot run over by an old lady on a bike, or maybe several players not being able to resist the temptation of a snack from the Golden Arches.
What looked to be the Japanese version of a dollar store actually proved to be the most popular destination (hey, these are college students) as the players stocked up on snacks and fun little trinkets, banners and souvenirs.[/FONT]
