Beas and the MNT have flown against Cuba, scoring 28 goals in nine matches

- Donovan has scored seven times against Cuba. In the 5-0 win on July 19, 2003 in Foxborough, Mass., he became the fourth player in MNT history to record four goals in one game.
- Beasley has three goals in four games against the Cubans, including a pair in the 6-1 win in World Cup qualifying on Oct. 11, 2008, in Washington. D.C. that secured the USA’s place in the final round.
- Donovan and Oguchi Onyewu also got on the scoreboard that day, while Jose Torres earned his first cap for the United States.
