Soccer Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo Tested Positive for COVID-19 and Weeks Later is Back On The Field, Scoring New Milestones
Dropping out of a game in mid-October, international soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for COVID-19. Back with his perfect poise, Ronaldo earned his 750th career goal as he moves closer to achieving a new record. Will he and can he reach 1,000 goals?
After testing positive for the coronavirus COVID-19, Cristiano Ronaldo came back in perfect Ronaldo-style. The star of Italy’s Juventus celebrated another victory on December 3rd when they shut out Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League with a 3-0 final score. The real celebration was focused on the goal scorer, Ronaldo who told his fans on social media “750 goals, 750 happy moments, 750 smiles on the faces of our fans.”
Now Ronaldo has reached a new milestone and is less than 20 goals away from surpassing the great Pele.
Strong from the Moment He Returned:
Scoring two goals in Juventus’ 4-1 win on November 1st, Ronaldo came on in the second half in the 56th minute when the score was 1-1 and made an impact, bringing his team to victory. It only took him three minutes on the soccer field to score his first goal.
