Six players made their Gold Cup debut Tuesday night when the U.S. poured in six against Guatemala.
Joe Corona, Mix Diskerud, Michael Orozco, Nick Rimando and Jose Torres got the start, while Brek Shea entered as a reserve. For Diskerud, the appearance in official competition means he is now fully committed to the United States for international competition, and Orozco now has a Gold Cup goal to his credit, adding to the historic game-winner against Mexico last year.
