“It’s always a balance between relaxing a bit, giving them a good time, giving them more time off and not overloading them with work. But the closer you get to the game the more you zoom in, the more serious you get in what you’re doing because everybody is eager to get those three points and look really strong in our group as the number one team.”
That's how Jurgen Klinsmann described the plan for the team's time in Salt Lake City, and he has certainly delivered. While there has been time to relax and regenerate, the training sessions have been particularly intense in terms of the effort from the players. The surface at Rio Tinto and the RSL training site is fantastic, and the spirit has been high for the last two days as the team zones in on Honduras.
