U.S. head coach Tom Sermanni has named the 18 players that will suit up against Scotland on Saturday, Feb. 9, at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Fla., in what will be the first match of the year for the U.S. Women and the first match at the helm for Sermanni. Fans can watch live via a video web stream on ussoccer.com beginning at 5 p.m. ET.

Roster Notes:Long-time starting goalkeeper Hope Solo has a minor calf strain and will not suit up for the match.
Midfielder Megan Rapinoe and defender Rachel Buehler both arrived late into training camp and trained in just one practice session, and neither will suit up. Rapinoe was with her club in France and Buehler had a family commitment.
Ali Krieger makes her return to a game day roster for the first time since she suffered a severe knee injury in the first game of Olympic qualifying in January of 2012.
The roster includes the captain of the 2012 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup champions in Julie Johnston, who led the USA to the title in Japan, defeating Germany, 1-0, in the Final. Johnston, who is a rising senior at Santa Clara University, won the Bronze Ball as the third best player in the tournament.
Johnston, the 2012 U.S. Soccer Young Female Athlete of the Year, is one of three players who could earn her first cap tomorrow night.
Sermanni also named the uncapped Christen Press, a former MAC Hermann Trophy winner at Stanford and the second-leading scorer in the Swedish First Division last season for FC Goteborg, and uncapped Kristie Mewis, the third pick in the NWSL College Draft out of Boston College who was the 2008 U.S. Soccer Young Female Athlete of the Year. Mewis played for the USA in the 2008 FIFA U-17 WWC and the 2010 FIFA U-20 WWC.
Midfielder Yael Averbuch, who has 16 career caps and one goal, has a chance to play in her first game since Jan. 25, 2011, when she played the second half of a 2-0 victory against China in Chongqing during the Four Nations Tournament.
