VEO Sports Camera Records Games Without A Camera Operator

Technology can be a huge asset for busy soccer coaches and understaffed clubs and leagues. The VEO camera tracks the soccer ball and provides great footage for coaches to review performance, and even for players to get clips for highlight reels.

In today’s competitive soccer landscape, it is important to provide great value for players, teams, clubs and leagues. United Women’s Soccer (UWS) understands the importance of constantly growing the women’s game and giving its teams a great value.

This week, UWS and VEO have announced a marketing partnership that will help the national pro-am league’s teams take their game analysis to the next level. Ver lets games be recorded automatically. With AI technology that pushes the boundaries towards the future of sports recording and analysis, Veo is a portable and affordable sports camera that enables teams to record and analyze games and practices without the need for a camera operator.

Veo was founded in 2015 when one of the co-founders was late for his son’s soccer game and missed the first five minutes. Unfortunately, his kid had already scored twice by the time of his father’s arrival. It is always great when a familiar story like this provides the inspiration to create a solution.

A total of 228,883 Matches have been recorded with Veo in 79 Countries

“The UWS-Veo partnership will provide UWS teams with a convenient recording solution to capture the fine details of our competitive and training environments while amplifying those insights for our technical leadership and players,” said UWS Chief Operating Officer Roberto Aguas. “Veo’s best-in-class HD recording and AI analysis will be invaluable tools toward maximizing our UWS player performances and team structures, and we look forward to this partnership implementing Veo’s value throughout our national platform.”

Veo is the official video supplier for UWS.

Using a smart device, the user can start and stop the video recording and once the game is over, upload to the Veo online platform.

The player can create their own highlights and the coach can review the overall performance of their team. UWS requires it’s member teams to record all their games. With this agreement, both organizations will continue to push the boundaries towards the future of sports recording and analysis.

“Veo is extremely proud to work alongside UWS,” said Veo U.S. Market Manager Lee Hudson. “UWS is changing the landscape of women’s soccer here in the United States for the better and we are honored to help facilitate that growth.”

“Empowering the teams to capture their games and practices for individual review or for coaches to analyze will be key to the success of each team in the league,” said Hudson.

“Veo and UWS have a strong professional base to work from and we look forward to growing this partnership into the future.”

Veo’s mission has always been to make the recording and AI analysis of soccer available to all clubs: no matter the size, financial ability or skill level.

Even covered by Forbes, Veo Technologies Is Helping Thousands Of Soccer Teams Film Their Matches With AI-Driven Cameras, the system is two 4K video sensors placed at an angle in a box, raised 23 feet above the pitch, allowing the camera to capture the field from end to end with a 180-degree panoramic view. Then dedicated AI technology allows the lens to zoom in and follow the action.

Just so you know: UWS is a national pro-am league comprised of professionally-operated clubs within the United States & Canada. UWS provides high level competition for college players, aspiring & former professionals, and international stars.

The season runs from May until the end of July, culminating in a National Championship. Since the league’s inception in 2016, UWS has filled the gap between the college & professional ranks and has over 17 NWSL draftees & 100 professional contracts to its name.
